🛡️ Product & Safety

What safety certifications do your products carry?

All ZGP World safety footwear is certified to CE (EN ISO 20345), ANSI Z41 / ASTM F2413, and GB 28288 standards. We also hold ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 14001 (environmental management) certifications. Test reports and certificates of compliance are provided with every order.

What’s the difference between steel toe and composite toe?

Both provide identical 200J impact and 15kN compression protection. Steel toe is heavier but more affordable, and slightly thinner (more toe room). Composite toe (fiberglass, carbon fiber, or Kevlar) is lighter, metal-free (airport-friendly), and provides better cold-temperature performance (no cold-bridge). Composite toe is recommended for airport workers, security personnel, and anyone in cold environments.

What does “S3 SRC” mean on a safety boot?

S3 is a European safety classification (EN ISO 20345) indicating: steel/composite toe + closed heel + antistatic + energy-absorbing heel + water-resistant upper + puncture-resistant midsole + cleated outsole. SRC is the highest slip-resistance rating (passes both SRA and SRB tests on ceramic and steel surfaces with cleaning agents). S3 SRC is the most common high-performance safety boot classification.

Are your boots waterproof?

Our AQUA-303 and POLAR-606 models feature waterproof membranes (HydroGuard™) rated to 10,000mm hydrostatic head. For other models, the leather upper is water-resistant (treated during tanning) but not fully waterproof. For prolonged wet conditions, we recommend the AQUA-303.

What sizes are available?

All our standard models are available in EU 36-48 / US 4-15, including half sizes. We can also produce custom size ranges (EU 33-52) for orders over 1,000 pairs. Need a custom size? Contact our team.

📦 Orders & Shipping

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

For stock items from our catalog, there is no minimum order. For custom OEM orders (logo, colors, packaging), MOQ starts at 100 pairs per model. Mixed SKU orders are accepted for orders over 500 pairs.

How long does production and delivery take?

Stock items: ship within 3-5 business days. Custom OEM orders: require 30-45 days including sample approval. Delivery time after dispatch: 5-7 days by air (DHL/FedEx) or 25-35 days by ocean freight, depending on destination.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept T/T (bank wire transfer), L/C (letter of credit), PayPal, Western Union, and Alibaba Trade Assurance. For first-time customers, we recommend PayPal or Trade Assurance for added protection. Standard terms are 30% deposit + 70% balance before shipment.

Can you provide samples before placing a bulk order?

Yes. We provide free samples for orders exceeding 500 pairs. For smaller test orders, sample costs are refundable upon confirmation of a bulk order. Sample delivery typically takes 5-7 days by air.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes. For urgent orders, we offer DHL Express (3-5 days), FedEx International Priority (3-5 days), and EMS (5-7 days). Air freight typically costs 3-5x ocean freight but reduces delivery time by 4-6 weeks.

🎨 OEM / ODM Services

Do you offer custom branding (OEM/ODM)?

Yes. We offer full OEM/ODM services including custom logo (printed, embossed, or stitched), custom color combinations, custom outsole colors, custom packaging (boxes, polybags, hangtags), and tailored specifications (e.g., specific toe cap material, midsole thickness, lining type).

How much does custom branding cost?

Custom logo printing is included free for orders over 1,000 pairs. For smaller OEM orders, we charge a one-time tooling fee ($50-200 per logo design) which is refunded on your first bulk order. Custom packaging has separate pricing depending on your requirements.

Can I get a custom-designed safety boot?

Yes. Our ODM service includes full custom design: new last, new sole, custom materials, and tailored specifications. ODM MOQ is 1,000 pairs per model. Custom design takes 60-90 days including sample approval and lab testing. We can also assist with patent and design registration in your target market.

✅ Quality & Warranty

What is your quality control process?

Every order goes through a 5-stage quality control process: (1) incoming raw material inspection, (2) in-line checks during production, (3) final random inspection before packing (AQL 2.5), (4) lab testing on each batch (impact, compression, flex, slip), and (5) container loading supervision.

What is your return and warranty policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy for stock items in original packaging. For quality defects, we provide replacement pairs or full refund at our cost. All footwear carries a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use conditions.

What if a batch has quality issues?

If you receive a batch with quality issues, please contact us within 7 days with photos and a description of the issue. We’ll arrange for return shipping at our cost and either replace the affected pairs or provide a full refund. We track quality issues by batch and use root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
